I signed up for MasterClass to brush up on my writing skills. I have wanted to write a book for some time now, but I’ve never taken a creative writing class and I am the type of person that likes lessons.
So I found MasterClass and signed up. The price options vary depending, but I started with the basic $15 a month plan.

When you log onto the site (or app, it’s both) it will ask you your interests. You can then select a number of people you want to take classes with on those specific topics.
The first course I started was with Judy Blume. Each lesson is broken down into snackable segments, ranging from two minutes to 20. Her topics include finding ideas, writing for a specific audience, creating memorable characters, writing dialogue and working with editors.
