100,000 Baby Names

A lot of names to go through, but I found it helpful for its lists. It breaks down names by popularity and location.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting

This is the classic must-read when pregnant, often called “America’s pregnancy bible.” It’s a very thorough read of all you need to know about being pregnant.

50 Things to do Before you deliver

Lists of what you need to do in each trimester. It’s really helpful for staying on track and remembering all of the things you need to get done before the baby arrives.

expecting better

A more modern look at pregnancy. Written by an economist, the book focuses mostly on numbers and statistics.

bumpin’

A full overview of what to expect while pregnant, but written more simply and straightforward. It may seem more approachable if you don’t want to feel overwhelmed with information.

real food pregnancy

A look at what to eat when pregnant and how to stay healthy for you and your baby.

This is written by the same author of “Expecting Better.” It’s everything to know when the baby arrives, again based on numbers and stats.

Twelve Hours’ Sleep by Twelve Weeks Old

The author says this book will “get any baby to sleep for twelve hours at night–and three hours in the day–by the age of twelve weeks old.”

This book is packed with tips to help calm your baby when they’re crying and how to help your baby sleep longer.

Parenting advice from the French. A book written by an American living abroad who was impressed with French children.
