Books + Wine

Book Club

Welcome to the LivNews book club, Where good books are paired with good wine!

Reading has always been one of my favorite things in life. There’s nothing like becoming fully immersed in a good book. Check back every month and I will share what I’m reading with you right here. Plus, I’ll pair each book with a wine recommendation!

This book club includes more than current bestsellers, sometimes I may throw in an old favorite here and there. Most of the books I feature are fiction, simply because I love getting lost in a good story. While fiction might not directly relate to this blog, reading for fun is such a big part of living a well-rounded life. So consider this my little corner of escapism.

Sign up for my newsletter where you’ll get extra details, including my thoughts on the pairings of the month. If you love to read as much as I do, please leave a comment to share your recommendations. Or comment on what you think of the books on my list. Don’t forget to keep reading my blog too! P.S. This page may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more information.

Hey there can you explain how you decide your wine pairings with the books, specifically The Midnight Library? Thank you!

      Hi Rania,

What a great question! I like to try different wines and then save ones I like. When I make the pairings, I try to go off the mood and vibe of the book. Is it light and crisp or dark and bold? If you have any recs, please do send my way! Always looking for more 🙂

I find hilarious your pairing of The Gentleman in Moscow and The Prisoner wine! This is very clever. I love the book and it is now paired with one of my favorite wine!

I’ve been wanting to go to @lejulesverneparis for years, and this time was able to book it in time (months in advance). We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary (a bit early but the ⭐️⭐️ Michelin was worth it).
