The iPhone offers safety features that can help save your life.

You’ll see two options, Call with Hold and Call with 5 Presses:

Call with Hold is a quick way to make an emergency call. The phone says, “If you press and hold the side buttons, the Emergency SOS slider appears. If you continue to hold them, a countdown begins and an alert sounds. When the countdown ends, iPhone calls emergency services.”

Call with 5 Presses is another way to send an alert. The phone says, “Rapidly pressing the side button five times starts a countdown and sounds an alert. When the countdown ends, iPhone calls emergency services.”

If you scroll down you’ll see a space for Emergency Contacts to alert others if you need help. There is also a Countdown Sound option which plays a warning sound while Emergency SOS is counting down to call emergency services.
That’s how to use the safety features on your iPhone!
