📲 iPhone: “Send Later” in the Messages App

How to schedule a text message on an iPhone:

  1. Open the Messages app and enter a conversation (or start a new one).
  2. Type your message like normal.
  3. Tap the + button next to the text box.
  4. Tap Send Later from the options that pop up.
  5. Choose the date and time you want it to go out.
  6. Hit Send – your message is scheduled!
  7. You’ll see the scheduled time and a visual cue (like dashed outlines) so you know it’s set.

How to schedule a text message on an Android:

  1. Open your Messages app and select a contact.
  2. Type your text message.
  3. Press and hold the send button (don’t just tap it).
  4. A “Schedule send” option appears – choose it.

  6. Your message will go out on schedule.
