
Want to set a text message to send automatically once or even daily? Here’s how to send automatic text messages by using an app on your iPhone!

First, head to the app Shortcuts. Then click Automation at the bottom. You’ll arrive at this screen:

Click “Create Personal Automation.” You can set the automation for specific reasons like “arriving at the gym” (using your location), or you can set it by day and time.

For that click “Time of Day:”

Pick the day and time:


Select “Send Message” and go from there:

At the end you’ll be able to see the automation you set:

You can also make changes to or delete an automation afterward.

And that’s all there is to it when it comes to sending automatic text messages from your iPhone.
The automation tab has a ton of other options too, like when you connect your phone to a charger you can have it send a text message, open an app or play music.
