How to schedule a text message on an iPhone:
- Open the Messages app and enter a conversation (or start a new one).
- Type your message like normal.
- Tap the + button next to the text box.
- Tap Send Later from the options that pop up.
- Choose the date and time you want it to go out.
- Hit Send – your message is scheduled!
- You’ll see the scheduled time and a visual cue (like dashed outlines) so you know it’s set.
💡 What to know:
- You can edit or cancel the message any time before it sends.
- Messages can be scheduled up to 14 days in advance.
- On iPhone, scheduled texts currently work best with iMessage and other iOS devices.
