Using a machine to make the best homemade bread

The video above shows how simple it is to use. The machine came with a recipe booklet, but we also purchased a bread machine cookbook which you can also find in our Amazon kitchen list.

According to the directions, you place everything in the machine in the order it’s listed in the recipe. There is no need to mix it. The machine will stir it, let it rise and then bake it for you.

Once you put your ingredients in, you have to choose settings. First, for how large of a recipe you’re making (for example, 1 lb, 1.5 lbs, 2 lbs). Then select the type of bread, such as wheat or white, and then select if you want light, medium or dark crust.

There are options on the machine to set a timer as well if you want to put the ingredients in and then let the bread bake overnight so you have a warm, fresh loaf in the morning. If you do this option, it is key to keep the yeast on top and separate from the liquid on the bottom, which is why following directions to add the ingredients in their order and not pre-mix them is important.

Here’s what I’ve learned in the first month of parenting:

Breastfeeding while trying to eat with one hand should be an Olympic sport. 😂

I’ve been coming to the realization I may never sleep a full night again or ever stop worrying. 😅

Baby coos, smiles, laughs, cuddles and snuggles are better than anything in the world. 🫶

Other parents are essential to learn from and lean on for support and staying in touch with loved ones, family and friends, is vital for your mood and sanity. Even if you feel like you have no time in the world or feel overwhelmed by visitors, you can try to socialize virtually. 🤗

Having a supportive, loving and adoring partner like @mpjym is everything. ❤️
