Blogging is a lot of fun, but also a lot of work! I love photography and appreciate beautiful photos, but I don’t have time to take new photos for every single blog post. Here’s how to make your life easier when it comes to finding free pictures for your blog.

The most important thing is to check if you can use the photo. You want to be sure you have legal permission to post it on your blog. When I first started blogging, I Googled around to find sites that had free images. I also looked at what other bloggers recommended.
These are three sites where you can find photos for your blog:
Pixabay which has “over 1.8 million+ high quality stock images and videos.”
MORE: Sign up for media consulting services!
Unsplash which has “free images and photos that you can download and use for any project.”
Pexels which has “free stock photos you can use everywhere.”

Also, check the format and size of your download. You want to be sure you’re using quality photos for your site. You’ll also want to check if you need to use a credit with the photo.
Good luck finding free pictures for your blog, and comment below if you know of other sites you like to use to find photos!
