How to use the iPhone's 'secret button'

There is a hidden button on your iPhone located on the back of it. Crazy, right?! The internet has dubbed it the “secret button.” All you need to do is tap it to make it work. Here’s how to use the iPhone’s secret button.

First, make sure your phone is updated to iOS 14 or later.

Then navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap.

This is the secret button, the Back Tap. You can choose between a double or triple tap to make it work. Or you can assign each one to something. So the double tap can open one thing and the triple tap can open another.

A list of options will then appear for what you want the double tap to do, from turning on the camera or flashlight to making a GIF.

You can select from a range of options, here’s an example of some:

I set my double tap to be a flashlight and my triple tap to lock my screen.

⭐️Our birth story!⭐️ Here’s what I’ve ⭐️Our birth story!⭐️

Here’s what I’ve learned in the first month of parenting:

Breastfeeding while trying to eat with one hand should be an Olympic sport. 😂

I’ve been coming to the realization I may never sleep a full night again or ever stop worrying. 😅

Baby coos, smiles, laughs, cuddles and snuggles are better than anything in the world. 🫶

Other parents are essential to learn from and lean on for support and staying in touch with loved ones, family and friends, is vital for your mood and sanity. Even if you feel like you have no time in the world or feel overwhelmed by visitors, you can try to socialize virtually. 🤗

Having a supportive, loving and adoring partner like @mpjym is everything. ❤️
