Taking advantage of technology is a great way to make your life easier when it comes to your health routine. One thing I use daily is my Alexa. P.S. This page may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more information.
I have an Echo Show which has a video system too, so I can see things like recipes and workouts. It also links with an app on my phone so I can edit my lists and reminders there too.

The best part is to use Alexa, you don’t need to press any buttons – it’s all done with voice control. I prefer to talk to the Echo Show, and only use the app if I’m not at home and can’t talk to the primary device.
Shopping list
One of the best parts of Alexa is using the shopping list. While I’m cooking in the kitchen I will constantly add things to it just by saying, “Alexa, add eggs to my shopping list.”
Then when I go to the app on my phone I can see the whole list. By syncing with the app I can also access my list at the store, checking things off as I go.

When it comes to health, I always recommend keeping a shopping list so you don’t go off the rails at the grocery store and stock up only on ice cream!
Recipes
Asking Alexa for healthy recipes is a fun way to try new things. If you have the Echo Show you’ll be able to visually follow along with the recipe too.
Reminders & Timers
I ask for reminders all the time. This works well with things like taking my vitamins daily. Every morning Alexa reminds me to take my vitamins. And every night she reminds me to go to bed at a reasonable hour. Both are important things for your health!

The timer feature is helpful when cooking or when working out. Simply say, “Alexa, set a timer for 20 minutes.” In 20 minutes she’ll start to ring so you’ll know the timer is up.
workouts
Ask Alexa for workouts. You can get specific too like toning or full-body. You may need to sign into an account to watch the videos, but with the Echo Show‘s video screen you’ll be able to browse workouts and see them while you do your workout. It’s a nice way to explore new ones so you don’t get tired of the same routines.
