I was looking high and low for the perfect card the other day, stopping at a few stores before giving up. I wanted something funny, something I hadn’t seen before. So I decided to go online and search for funny cards and I found just what I was looking for. Sometimes we’re so used to getting things certain ways we forget we can look in other places too.

Find deals and reservations in advance
Take five minutes to search online for date night deals in your area. A few years ago I had a great dinner out for half the price because of a coupon we found online. Just be sure the restaurant knows in advance that you have the coupon so they honor it.

There are also apps out there that offer easy ways to send bouquets and flowers to your loved ones. Use a travel app to book a quick vacation on the fly. Or use an app to get a meal delivered to your door if you don’t feel like going out!

Plan your date day or night
Maybe you don’t want to do a classic dinner date and are seeking an adventure! I have found some really cool events by searching around online, from sites like Secret Los Angeles to Time Out LA to Facebook events.
