Play this FaceTime game during the coronavirus quarantine

LIFESTYLE

Phone
Not a phone used for FaceTime, but you get the idea! This game is all about making phone calls.

Stuck at home and looking for something to do? I made up this game with my husband during the pandemic. It was a lot of fun and a great way to spend virtual time with family and friends! So many people messaged us after as well to tell us it had really brightened their evenings. So if you’re looking for a social activity try this game during the coronavirus quarantine.

It all started with FaceTime. I suggested calling our friends and turning it into a game. So here are the rules we came up with.

The game is best played with another person (or a few) so you can turn it into a competition. Even if that person isn’t in the same room with you it’s OK – but you’d have to trust their word that there was no cheating!

  1. Choose a certain number of people to call. We each chose 10 and made a list. We also set a cutoff time for making changes to the list. If you wanted to make a change you would be docked 1 point.
  2. Decide who goes first. That person will FaceTime the first person on their list. And no forewarning texts to make sure someone picks up! So choose people who you think would answer FaceTime calls.
  3. You can decide how to allot points, but we did 1 point if the person answered. 2 points if they did a toast with us and so on. You could set rules and points for however you see fit. Can you get them to do a tongue twister? Can you make them play truth or dare? Each activity counts for certain points.
  4. Then it’s the next person’s turn to call someone – and back and forth you go down your lists.

The best part was that by the end we’d lost score because we ended up chatting longer and catching up with people and it ended in a lot of laughing. So there you have it, a game during the coronavirus quarantine. And remember, safety first!

⭐️Our birth story!⭐️ Here’s what I’ve ⭐️Our birth story!⭐️

Here’s what I’ve learned in the first month of parenting:

Breastfeeding while trying to eat with one hand should be an Olympic sport. 😂

I’ve been coming to the realization I may never sleep a full night again or ever stop worrying. 😅

Baby coos, smiles, laughs, cuddles and snuggles are better than anything in the world. 🫶

Other parents are essential to learn from and lean on for support and staying in touch with loved ones, family and friends, is vital for your mood and sanity. Even if you feel like you have no time in the world or feel overwhelmed by visitors, you can try to socialize virtually. 🤗

Having a supportive, loving and adoring partner like @mpjym is everything. ❤️
