Even if you’re an avid Instagram user, you may not know about the ‘peek and pop’ feature on the app.
Peek and pop is helpful because it’s a quick way to let you like, comment or message directly from another user’s main Instagram profile page.

In order to see how it works, navigate to someone’s profile. Then tap and hold on one of their posts on their grid.
This is an example of how ‘peek and pop’ looks:
With peek and pop, you can like or comment on their photo or video without having to open their post. So it’s a time saver.
You can also send a user’s post as a message to another user or share to your IG Story directly from this feature.

One thing to note though is this feature appears to only work on the main IG grid and IG Reels, not on IGTV posts or IG Guides.
