I’ve worked on many stories in my career, and while most news jobs focus on day-of content, I’ve been fortunate enough to work on documentary style, long-form and evergreen pieces as well.
I’m very proud of these stories. I co-produced Dead Horse Bay, which was the first-ever piece to be nominated and to win an Emmy Award for ABC News National’s digital unit. I reported on FGC/FGM in the U.S., which was nominated for a Webby Award. I pitched, shot, wrote and produced both of these stories.

Hidden History is another feature series I really enjoyed creating and hosting for ABC7 Los Angeles.
I got the idea from Huell Howser and California’s Gold, a family favorite. Huell travels around California, showcasing amazing history and fascinating people.
So I decided to pitch a modern idea and approach to a history series, featuring my favorite city and one in which I work, Los Angeles.
I continued to integrate new technology as I worked on these pieces. Some of the stories I shot with a C100 and other stories are all done with an iPhone and mobile gear.
