We are planning a road trip to see the Pacific Southwest! We start with the Grand Canyon and hit two more national parks and some other monumental spots.
Here’s what our trip entails and some more fun details. P.S. This page may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more information.

the trip
We’ll kick off our Grand Canyon road trip from L.A. We’ll spend the first night camping (more like glamping, with running water!) at Under Canvas in a tent so we can see the stars. The next day we’ll see the Grand Canyon‘s South Rim.
Then we head to Page, Arizona, where we’ll see Horseshoe Bend…

…and Antelope Canyon.

After that we hit Bryce and Zion for a few days.

Although I’m not a fan of Las Vegas, on the way back to L.A. we’ll stop there to split up the drive, and we’ll see a show and get a nice dinner.

Taking the Tesla
We plan to drive our Tesla, which requires extra mapping because we’ll have to charge it as we go. Spending time to plan this is key because some of the roads can be remote.
This also adds time to the trip, so we factored that in as well.
Extra planning
It’s going to be hot when we go so we plan to take a reusable water bottle, plus a cooler with extra water and food. We’ll bring an umbrella too for shade from the sun.
I also plan to pack hiking boots and a DSLR camera to capture some majestic shots.
