Adding a TikTok thumbnail to your video is a great way to tease the video to your audience. This can also make it more likely someone will watch your video! Here’s how to go about doing it.
Adding text to a thumbnail can only be done at the very end of a post. You will do it on the last screen before you post:

Click “Select cover.” And that’s where you can choose the text you want to use on your TikTok thumbnail.

Great post! My cover text is showing up truncated (one word per line) like as seen at 0:20 in the YouTube video. I’d like to have a few words per line as seen at 0:17. How can I do this? Thanks! 🙏

I think it all depends on the words you use and their length. Try rephrasing what you’re writing into shorter words and see if that helps!
