
If you deleted a photo on your phone it may not be gone forever just yet. Here is a simple process to try to locate deleted photos on your iPhone.
First, open the Photos app. Next, go to albums at the bottom. Scroll down the page until you find a section that says “Media Types.” Under that section, you should find another at the very bottom that says “Other Albums.”

You will find a folder called “Recently Deleted.” Then click that and it should take you to all of the photos you have deleted. But be warned, it doesn’t hold onto them forever. So you’ll want to address deleted photos on your iPhone before it’s too late.

At the top of this section it says:
Photos and videos show the days remaining before deletion. After that time, items will be permanently deleted. This may take up to 40 days.
You’ll notice that the photos in your recently deleted section are labeled with days. So this is how many days you have left to save them from being permanently deleted.

If you want to save one, click the photo and you will see an option to “Recover.” This option appears on the bottom right of the screen. By choosing “Recover” the photo will be added back to your main album titled “Recents” in the Photos app.
