MORE: Mistakes you’re making when taking photos with your phone
As a journalist, I am constantly creating content in the form of storytelling. However, there are periods of time where I may be supervising content or working on something more long-form and I don’t have my direct work to share with my audiences.
What I got in the habit of doing a while back was saving photos in my phone and now I have a whole library of content.
I like to heart photos or videos, but you can create an album or save them using an app if you prefer.
I try to post something to my social channels every day and this is a quick fix if I need content. It may not provide me a nicely edited YouTube or TikTok video, but it may give me something to put on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Or perhaps it’s a photo I can turn into a Pinterest graphic using Canva (which is a great tool for creating content!) and share on my Instagram Story too.
