Set digital reminders to organize your life

The Apple Reminders app is a good way to keep your life in order. Never forget a reminder with these simple tips! P.S. This page may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure for more information.

I activate the Reminders app with a Siri voice command: “Hey Siri, remind me to…” You can also type a reminder directly into the app, but I find the voice command the easiest to use.

Depending on what tech I’m using (phone, watch or iPad), Siri will recognize the command and set a reminder in the app. The most important thing is to use the word “remind” because then it will know it’s using the Reminders app, and not setting an alarm or sending a text.

Then I chose to edit “When Messaging,” adding Michael to it as you can see above.

This is what the reminder then looked like:

The next time I messaged Michael, the reminder popped up:

Never forget a thing with the Reminders app!
