The whole point of being socially savvy is to get you ‘in the know’ when it comes to the ever-changing world of digital. A lot of people may think social savvy refers just to social media savvy – or the practice of being a social media pro – but this blog covers everything digital, not just social media.
Here are some pointers on how you can best use this blog to make your life easier, from everyday habits to technical skills!

- Be open-minded – We are all resistant to change, but once you embrace it your knowledge will flourish. Technology and digital stuff changes faster than most things which is why being open-minded to what’s new is key.
- Practice patience with yourself – I have had some of my biggest meltdowns (or extremely frustrating moments in life) with my computer or phone. This stuff can be difficult, but practicing patience will get you much farther. Keep calm and carry on.
- Set aside the extra time – Know that you won’t learn everything overnight. The more time you spend reading, watching and learning then the better your skills will develop.
