If you’re on Facebook and going to ‘Like’ or ‘Love’ someone’s post, you will see a new option now. It’s a symbol of a yellow smiley face that is hugging a heart. When you hover over it, it says ‘Care.’ If you want to show your support during the pandemic in another way on the platform, you can now choose this ‘Care’ reaction button.
Upon selecting the ‘Care’ reaction for the first time, Facebook has a screen come up that says:
“Even apart, we’re in this together. We’ve added a new reaction so you can show extra support while many of us are apart. We hope this helps you, your family and your friends feel a bit more connected.”

Even Apart, We’re In This Together
We’ve added a new reaction so you can show extra support while many of us are apart. We hope this helps you, your family and your friends feel a bit more connected.

The button is simple to find and easy to use. It’s in the same spot where you’d usually find other reactions from the ‘Like’ button. Just hover your mouse over the ‘Like’ and you will see it pop up.
