
Say goodbye to IGTV on Instagram. The social media platform got rid of its feature toward the end of 2021. Instead, it will now roll all video uploads (that aren’t Reels) into a new category called Instagram Video.

This is where it appears on the platform:

When you tap it you’ll find all of your videos compiled there, including old IGTVs and any video previously uploaded to your grid (aka the main Instagram page).

You’ll still find “series” listed at the top, so if you had created a series in IGTV it will appear there.
The change came just before Facebook, which owns Instagram, announced the change of its corporate name to Meta.
Instagram officials have said for a while they want to focus more on video content, as the platform continues to compete with TikTok and YouTube.

Some older videos may not be proportionally ideal with this update. I know for me, some older videos are a little cutoff.
