Thanks for the love @chatgpt 💸 All of my recent Thanks for the love @chatgpt 💸

All of my recent clients found me on #ChatGPT - swipe to learn how to have #AI recommend your biz. #geo

As part of my ongoing #oliviAIproject, I tasked @claudeai with building this carousel while taking my kids on a walk. It failed in some ways and succeeded in others…

The major fail was that it couldn’t come up with a strong topic. I asked it to pick something catchy and on brand. I didn’t love the options so I ended up picking this one myself. I chose the photo and I had it then create the slides. It made them quickly thanks to a #skill I’d built (unsure what that is? I teach that too: 🔗 MediaConsultingCoaches.com). But I did have to tweak the style a lot.

All in all, it still saved me a ton of time because I didn’t have to build any of these slides myself. I may have come up with the idea and done most of the writing, but it did all of the creation.

I asked for another choice, and it said: the ice bath or write and read a poem to your Instagram audience. Both sounded scary, but I chose the less physically painful one this time.

That’s how this AI-assigned, human-made poem came to be. It didn’t touch an AI tool in any way. AI simply assigned it. I always say the creative parts, the soul of your work, you need to do yourself. Outsource the tedious tasks that aren’t your art to AI.

I often use AI to copyedit or check structure, but not this time. I wanted this to stay perfectly imperfect. 😅✍️

It’s Halloween, so I have to share something scary It’s Halloween, so I have to share something scary... and some may think nothing is scarier than what I’m about to post 👻

This month I had 4 public speaking engagements! I’m always excited to share my work and what I’m passionate about, but that doesn’t mean I’m not human. I used to be filled with dread before walking onstage. But over time, by forcing myself to do it again and again, the fear faded.

Now I teach it too! 🔗 Link to my coaching in bio.

In October, I:

🎤 Gave a keynote on AI and the future of media for the Journalism Association of Community Colleges
🔒 Spoke on a panel about AI and privacy at ETHOS LIVE, hosted by @uscviterbi’s Engineering in Society Program and the USC Institute on Ethics & Trust in Computing (IETC)
🤖 Led an AI workshop for the @usccenterforpr’s Lead On! event
📚 Read a book from my series Dog Detectives Jacob & Bricks at an elementary school

(Not to mention the consulting, teaching and faculty workshops)

What’s the scariest thing you did this month?
