It seems like there are more and more Instagram Story filters every day. If you want more (who doesn’t!), but aren’t sure how to find them keep reading.
There are a few ways to find new Instagram Story filters. First, open the app and create a Story (tap the camera button in the top left corner). The filters appear at the bottom of the screen and you can scroll through them by sliding your finger over them.
The simplest way to search is to check what’s already there. Scroll along the bottom of the filters when you’re in Story mode to see what’s new. Has the app added anything? It sounds a little too easy, but after you use something enough times it is easy to forget to check the most obvious place.
If you scroll all the way to the right you will see there is an option to BROWSE EFFECTS. That’s the place you can search for more filters.

A second way is to find someone else who has the filter you like. Here is an example of one I recently used. You will see the filter top left.
If you click it you then have the option to try it or save it and use it later. If you save it, it will then appear with your other IG Story filters in the app. You can send it to a friend too.

You can also find more filters from the MORE button in the photo above. If you’ve seen some of the viral ones like the Disney character filter you can try searching for it or you can search for the creator.
